When Fallout 76’s B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) arrives in October, Bethesda has shared that the end B.E.T.A. will be the full game and any progress made to this point will carry over into the launch version on Nov 14th. The Fallout 76 B.E.T.A FAQ was also updated to reflect this statement stating “Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch.”
The FAQ also notes that there will be no NDA so players will be able to discuss, post screenshots, stream, etc. when they begin playing. It was also recently revealed that Steam will not be leveraged with the release and instead Bethesda will look to using their in-house Bethesda Launcher for PC players, which seems to be the rising trend with Publishers.
QuakeCon 2018 begins this Thursday, and on Saturday, August 10, there will be a Fallout 76 panel that will see Todd Howard and other Bethesda Game Studios developers discussing more about this upcoming title. Stay tuned to 8BitTacos as we cover the event and panels live and bring you the news as soon as we can!
